Public Hearing on Priority Improvement or Turnaround Unified Improvement Plan Schools

On December 3, 2019, the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. at the Professional Learning and Conference Center,15771 East 1st Avenue, Aurora, Colorado, 80011, to review the adoption and implementation of a school improvement plan as described in section 22-11-404 C.R.S., a school priority improvement plan as described in section 22-11-405 C.R.S., or a school turnaround plan as described in section 22-11-406 C.R.S. In addition to the schools identified as Priority Improvement and Turnaround, those on Performance and Improvement will also have their Unified Improvement Plans reviewed at this time. 

The following schools are required to develop a priority improvement or turnaround plan:

  • Aurora Central High School
  • Edna and John W. Mosley P-8
  • Gateway High School
  • Hinkley High School
  • Laredo Elementary
  • Lyn Knoll Elementary
  • Mrachek Middle School
  • North Middle School Health Sciences and Technology
  • Park Lane Elementary
  • Sable Elementary School
  • South Middle School
  • Vista PEAK Preparatory
